Why is it said that fitness is a lifestyle?

People always search for hacks and other tips to avoid getting fat because they think their old lifestyle is right

But you have to understand we as humans are social beings and it is tough to do the right thing if you are surrounded by people who are doing the complete opposite

So even if you try to improve your lifestyle and make better choices the people around you will make it difficult unintentionally

Let me explain with an example: if you have 5 family members including you, and you want to fix your sleeping schedule and try to sleep when it is dark and wake up at sunrise

Now unlike you, your family members sleep somewhere around 1 am or even late and wake up around 10 am

First let me tell you about the emotional factor because, for a lot of people that matter, you won’t be able to spend 8 hours every day with your family members

How? Basic math, you sleep at 9, they sleep at 1, 4 hours gone, you wake up at 5, they wake at 9. 4 hours at night you’ll be sleeping while they’re awake, 4 hours in the morning, they’ll be sleeping while you’re awake

Now let’s discuss other problems which occur for you, to be able to sleep properly you’ll need a proper environment like a dark room, ZERO noise lights off

People who are awake will keep the lights on till it’s their bedtime and will make some basic noise like walking, opening or closing closets, cooking something, TV or music, talking and laughing

You’ll know what I’m talking about if you try to implement a proper sleeping schedule

Now you have to understand sleep is only one aspect of a good lifestyle, if you change other factors like diet and exercise, you’ll know what you’re entering into

The reason the diet is called diet is that you’re the only person eating it, if everyone in your family eats healthy protein and fruit-rich food, it’ll be called food

If you eat different food, chances are you’ll have to cook your food and the same with exercise

And one of the main problems you’ll face is that you’ll be able to spend much less time with your family members because when you’re cooking they’re eating when you’re exercising they’re doing something else when you’re awake they’re asleep

And sooner or later either you’ll find new people who share a similar lifestyle or you’ll give up and start living like them or you might end up alone
